Questions1. A young woman, anticipating the birth of a baby boy, comes to you and asks whether or not she should circumcise her baby. What are the benefits and risks? How can she decide?
2. After you deliver her baby, she asks you to circumcise him, what would be contraindications to the procedure? 3. How long should the penile shaft be for the procedure to be performed safely? 4. How long must the baby be observed in the hospital following the procedure? 5. On removal of the clamp you note bleeding at the 6 o'clock position. What steps will you take to stop the bleeding? |
